Greetings, Time-Travelers!
It has been quite the journey since we began preparing for Ulduar. Before its release, we closed 182 Ulduar reports, with many more being addressed in the weeks that followed. Between testing, reports, fixes, regressions and all the little things that inevitably come with putting together a raid of this scale, there has been no shortage of work behind the scenes. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed reports, testing, feedback, fixes and everything else along the way. Your efforts have played a big part in making the Ulduar release such a success and we hope you enjoy your Chromiepoint rewards for all work done.
But, as ever, we cannot stay in one chapter forever.
Onyxia’s Lair is next.
The updated, level 80 version, of Onyxia’s Lair will be released on 4th November. As part of the transition, the current level 60 version will be locked and removed from access.
21st October — Level 60 Onyxia’s Lair is locked and will no longer be accessible
28th October — New Onyxia’s Lair is released
28th October — Achievements associated with the level 60 version are removed
28th October — First daily Random Heroic Dungeon reward increases from 1 to 2 Emblems of Conquest If you have any unfinished business with the old broodmother, make sure to take care of it before the lockout.
Looking Ahead
It has been quite the journey so far, and with only around three raids remaining in our progression, we’d rather make sure we do not rush through them. We understand that some of you would like to see Emblem rewards updated and new raids released sooner. However, we believe there is more value in allowing each piece of content to be properly enjoyed, while maintaining quality releases and a well-cadenced schedule. There is still plenty ahead of us, and we want to make sure we take the time to do it properly.
One chapter closes, another begins. See you in the Lair.
